Development Office

The Development and Community Relations Office

The overall role of the Development Office is to uphold the College’s vision to provide “the best all-round education it is possible to obtain”.

This is achieved by the Development Office providing the following support to the College.

• To provide the College with the best possible resources so as to enable them to achieve their aims.

• To provide the necessary leadership and support to develop cohesive integration with all the College stakeholders in order to achieve the common vision of the College.

• Implement and manage an integrated plan for all communications, marketing, fundraising, friendraising, events and sponsorship activities so the College and its stakeholders are working together to implement our short and long term strategies and to support the vision of the College to the global community.

• Develop an environment of philanthropy and the essential role it has to play at the College. The funds raised will ensure that the College will remain at the forefront of education in New Zealand by maintaining, updating and expanding our facilities and programmes.

• To provide ongoing, open and two way communication to ensure all parties are kept constantly informed.

• To be a source of excellence to the King’s College community, uphold its high standards and focus on developing, maintaining and growing relationships within the College community and beyond.

The Development Office is made up of five key personnel whose responsibilities are to promote and support the College’s strategic vision.
