Schools from around the world competed for the Jonah Lomu Cup in a tournament that was organised by Phil Kingsley-Jones and John Powell, Director of the King’s College Institute, who is responsible for events at the College during holiday time.
The tournament, which involved 8 schools, was played at King’s College over the last week and finished on Friday.
Schools included New South Wales Colleges - Newington and Knox Grammar; Red Hill High School from Johannesburg; and Auckland schools - Wesley College, Mount Albert Grammar School and Papatoetoe High School.
All the teams stayed on site at King’s and had time to visit Auckland sights, including a trip to Eden Park for the Blues v Highlanders clash after finals were played on April 17.
